Administrative rights to the device are needed when downloading Secure Browser.
When downloading or launching the Secure Browser, your antivirus software may display a warning or block the file. This can happen because the Secure Browser uses protective features that some antivirus programs do not immediately recognise.
Select “Allow”, “Trust”, or “Run Anyway”
- If your antivirus program gives you the option to allow the Secure Browser to run, choose this option.
- This will let the Secure Browser open normally.
If the download or installation is blocked
- Your antivirus may prevent the file from downloading or launching entirely.
- In this case, you will need to adjust your antivirus settings.
Update your antivirus settings to allow the Secure Browser
- Add the Secure Browser to the antivirus allow-list/exceptions list (wording may vary depending on your software: Trusted Applications, Exceptions, Safe List, etc.).
- Once added, retry the download or installation.
