If you'd like to host Trinity Music exams at your own venue, you can arrange a private exam session. The guidance below explains the key steps and requirements.
Step 1: Are You a Registered Centre?
To host a private exam session, your organisation must be registered with Trinity as an exam centre.
If you have not previously run your own exams, you will need to register first. Click here for more information.
Step 2: Meet the Minimum Fee
To request a private visit, you must meet a minimum spend of £867 / €1500 in practical exam fees.
If your total fees are below this threshold, you may choose to pay the difference.
You can use our current exam fee lists to estimate your session total.
Step 3: Submit a Booking Form
Complete the relevant booking form at least 8 weeks before your requested exam date:
Step 4: Specialist Examiner Requests
If your session requires a specific type of examiner, such as an instrumental specialist:
Requests must be submitted at least 12 weeks in advance.

Spring: Mid March – Mid April
Summer: Mid June – Mid July
Summer (Scotland): Late May – Late June
