Booking Amendments and Cancellations

Modified on Mon, 7 Jul at 12:46 PM

Booking amendments and cancellations for Trinity music exams vary slightly depending on the platform you use to book your exam. Please ensure you carefully read the details in your confirmation email after booking to confirm they are correct.

Cancelling a Booking - Face to Face exams

  • All bookings made through Trinity’s online platforms are covered by a 14-day cooling-off period.
  • You will receive a refund, minus an administrative fee, in accordance with exam booking terms and conditions.
  • This applies to both the My Trinity and Music Online Booking (MOB) platforms.
  • The cooling-off period begins from the date the booking is made.
  • Bookings made via the My Trinity platform can be cancelled via your account within 14 days, provided your exam has not yet been timetabled.

Cancelling a Booking - Digital exams

  • When you booked the exam, you will have received a booking confirmation email. Please forward this email to support@trinitycollege.com, including your request to cancel.
  • If you no longer have the confirmation email, please send an email to support@trinitycollege.com. This email should include the candidate’s name, exam type, and booking reference, if known.

Amending a Booking

My Trinity Platform

  • We can correct incorrect names, addresses, and email addresses.
  • We can change the instrument type if it was incorrectly selected within the correct exam suite.
  • You must contact us at the earliest opportunity before the exam to request changes, once a certificate has been issued, amendment requests may require a fee.
  • We cannot amend the grade of an exam. If it was booked incorrectly, we will need to issue a refund, and you will need to make a new booking.
  • We cannot amend an exam suite (e.g. a Classical and Jazz booking to Rock & Pop, or vice versa). We will need to refund you, and you will need to make a new booking.

Music Online Booking (MOB) Platform

  • Once an exam time has been issued, no changes can be made to the exam date and time.
  • Please ensure all details are correct before completing your booking.
