Certificates - Digital & Paper copies

Modified on Wed, 9 Jul at 4:37 PM

Trinity College London offers digital certificates for many of its exams, with the option to purchase a paper certificate if preferred. This provides faster access, increased flexibility, and improved security, while maintaining the same high standards and recognition as traditional certificates.

Digital Certificates

Since September 2023, Trinity has issued digital certificates for a wide range of qualifications to improve speed, accessibility, and environmental sustainability.

Note: For some face-to-face exams, your digital certificate may arrive before the exam result or report form, which are issued separately.

What is a Digital Certificate?

A digital certificate is an official electronic document confirming your exam achievement. It looks the same as a paper certificate and is just as valid. Benefits include:

  • Fast, secure electronic delivery

  • Shareable by link, PDF, or QR code

  • Easy to download and store

  • 24/7 access via the Accredible platform

  • Verifiable by employers or institutions online

How It Works

You’ll receive an email from Trinity (via Accredible) when your certificate is ready. This will include a direct link to view, download, or share your certificate.

Tip: There’s no need to create an Accredible account – one is created for you automatically.

If you wish, you can set a password to access extra features like editing your display name or managing privacy settings.

Watch our video guide on how to view and share your digital certificate.

Ordering a Paper Certificate (Optional)

If you'd like a printed certificate, you can order one for a small fee, which includes all postage costs. It will have the same design and content as your digital version. Paper certificates are not available for Digital Theory exams.

Instructions for ordering are included in your certificate email. Alternatively, you can use the link below:

You’ll need to enter:

• Your candidate ID, found on your exam report, appointment slip, or certificate
