How to Book Exams – My Trinity and Other Platforms

Some Classical and Jazz face-to-face centres now use our My Trinity booking platform, while others, in the UK, including London, still use the legacy Music Online Booking (MOB) system.

In the UK and Ireland, the booking platform depends on the exam centre. We recommend using our exam centre map  to check the latest information and ensure you use the correct platform for your chosen session.

Outside the UK and Ireland, please contact your local representative  for booking details.

If your centre uses My Trinity, your appointment will be confirmed up to three weeks before the session starts, after bookings close. This platform offers greater flexibility and improved suppor, and automatic exam timetabling will be added soon. My Trinity is becoming our all-in-one portal for booking, cancellations, results, and more.

UK and Ireland Classical and Jazz Face-to-Face exams - Use the Centre Map First

Before you book, always start by using our exam centre map. Clicking on your chosen centre pin will direct you to:

• The correct platform for booking
• Confirmed exam and booking deadline dates
• Local contact details and further session information
• You can filter the map pins by exam type

There are currently two platforms in use:

My Trinity Portal

• Used for all Rock & Pop exams, Digital Grades & Diplomas, and many Classical & Jazz face-to-face centres
  
• You will need to create a My Trinity account to book
  
• After the booking window closes and the 14-day cancellation period ends, appointments are confirmed by your local representative
  
• My Trinity will also support exam cancellation, results, and more
• My Trinity allows you to add preferences for exam dates using the 'Additional Information' section.

Music Online Booking

• Used by some Classical & Jazz centres that require immediate exam slot confirmation
  
• Appointment times are confirmed within 24 hours
  
• Please note: this platform will be phased out once My Trinity supports auto-scheduling

Booking Your Exam

• Click on your chosen centre on the exam map
  
• You'll be redirected to either My Trinity or MOB based on the centre
  
• Follow the platform guidance to complete your booking
