Submittable help

Modified on Mon, 7 Jul at 12:46 PM

If you're experiencing problems submitting your digital exam via Submittable, this guide will help you identify and resolve common issues that may prevent successful completion.

Trinity will create a Submittable account for you when you book a digital exam, or use your existing Submittable account if you have booked with us before. Please note: you cannot use a Submittable account you created independently—only accounts linked to your Trinity booking can be used.

Before Submitting, Check the Following

Make sure all of these requirements are met before attempting to submit your form:

  • Video file size is under 1GB
  • File format is either .mp4 or .mov
  • File is uploaded directly – not in a folder, zipped, or a shared link
  • You have made all required exam selections, including:
  • All exam pieces
  • Technical work (if applicable—for technical pathway exams)
  • If you've selected ‘own choice’: The piece title, composer, and publication details fields are completed
  • You have uploaded a copy of any music not published by Trinity, as a clear scan, image, or PDF file.

Final Checks Before Submission

  • Ensure all required checkboxes at the bottom of the form are ticked.
  • Then click the ‘Submit Form’ button to complete your entry.

Saving Progress

To pause your submission, use the ‘Save Draft’ button. Progress may be lost if you close your browser, are signed out, or leave the page without saving.

Recommended Browser Settings

  • For the best experience, use the latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
  • If you have a slower internet connection, close or pause other activities using bandwidth (e.g. streaming, online gaming)

If you’ve checked everything above and are still experiencing issues, please contact us with details of the problem and any screenshots you can provide.
