Late Arrivals & Emergencies

Modified on Mon, 7 Jul at 12:46 PM

We understand that unforeseen issues such as illness, travel delays or emergencies can sometimes occur on the day of your exam. If you are running late or unable to attend your scheduled face-to-face exam, it is important to follow the guidance below.

Face-to-Face exams: Running Late

  • If you are delayed on the day of your exam, please contact your local Trinity representative or exam centre as soon as possible.
  • While we will do our best to accommodate late arrivals, we cannot guarantee your exam can still go ahead.
  • In some cases, a late arrival may mean the exam cannot proceed and the fee may be forfeited.

Face-to-Face exams: Unable to Attend Due to an Emergency

  • If you are unable to attend your face-to-face exam due to an emergency (such as illness, injury, or severe travel disruption), please contact your Trinity representative without delay
  • Depending on the circumstances, it may be possible to reschedule your exam.
  • Requests are handled on a case-by-case basis and may require supporting documentation, such as a medical certificate or proof of travel disruption.
  • Please note that rescheduling is not guaranteed and may not be possible in all cases.
  • In some cases, Trinity may offer a partial or full refund following a review of the circumstances.

Digital Exams

  • If you experience an emergency during your 28-day digital submission window, please contact our support team as soon as possible.
  • While digital exams offer greater flexibility, we recommend planning your recording and submission well in advance to avoid last-minute issues.
  • We may not be able to extend your submission deadline unless there is a compelling reason. Please only book your exam when you are ready to submit, to avoid issues.
  • If technical issues prevent you from uploading your video or completing the submission, please refer to our Technical Support section or get in touch with Trinity for assistance.
