ISE D is the Digital version of Trinity College London's ISE (Integrated Skills in English) qualification.
This qualification assesses a candidate's ability to effectively use English in real-life academic and professional contexts. Uniquely designed to evaluate reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in an integrated and practical way, ISE aligns with the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) from levels A2 to C2. It consists of two distinct but complementary modules: Reading & Writing and Speaking & Listening, which can be completed separately or together, offering flexibility to learners. Globally recognised by educational institutions, governments, and employers, Trinity's ISE qualification helps individuals demonstrate the English language proficiency needed for higher education, career advancement, or visa applications, while promoting meaningful, authentic communication skills. Trinity's ISE qualifications provide individuals and institutions with reliable evidence of the use of integrated English language skills at different levels from beginner to advanced. Trinity's ISE qualification is regulated by Ofqual, Qualifications Wales, and CCEA Regulation in Northern Ireland and is Recognised by governments and institutions as solid evidence of English language proficiency.
ISE D allows candidates to take their exam remotely, via computer at an exam centre, allowing more frequent, on demand testing, and faster access to results - usually in 3-5 days. You are also able to resit one module within 90 days if you’d like to improve your score
