            This article outlines the full range of Trinity’s current music exam options for brass instruments, including:


            • Classical and Jazz Graded Exams

            • Music Certificate Exams

            Note: For Music Certificate exams, some instruments have suggested repertoire lists (linked below). Candidates may also select pieces from the corresponding Graded exam levels:

            • Foundation Certificate: Choose from Grade 3 repertoire
            • Intermediate Certificate: Choose from Grade 5 repertoire
            • Advanced Certificate: Choose from Grade 8 repertoire


            For the following instruments, only Graded exam repertoire must be used (no alternative lists are provided):

            • Bass Trombone (Advanced Certificate only)
            • Eb Soprano Cornet (Advanced Certificate only)
            • Eb Tenor Horn
            • Euphonium/Baritone
