Bowed String Instruments & Harp - Syllabus and Repertoire lists

This article outlines the full range of Trinity’s current music exam options for piano and keyboard instruments, including:

• Classical and Jazz Graded Exams

• Music Certificate Exams

• Performance Diplomas (ATCL, LTCL, FTCL)

For each instrument, we’ve included the syllabus type, available levels, and links to repertoire lists or syllabuses where applicable.

Note: For Music Certificate exams, some instruments have suggested repertoire lists (linked below). Candidates may also select pieces from the corresponding Graded exam levels:

• Foundation Certificate: Choose from Grade 3 repertoire
• Intermediate Certificate: Choose from Grade 5 repertoire
• Advanced Certificate: Choose from Grade 8 repertoire

For the following instruments, only Graded exam repertoire must be used (no alternative lists are provided):
